Short answer: Ford has ended production of the Edge, so there is no new Edge to buy. A used Edge is the only way to get one. As of October 26, 2026, Team Ford Las Vegas lists two used Ford Edges: a 2019 Edge SEL listed as Certified Pre-Owned and a 2021 Edge SEL. If you’d rather go new, Edge shoppers usually move to the Bronco Sport (two rows, seats up to five, standard 4×4) or the Explorer (three rows, seats six or seven). We had 69 new Bronco Sports and 71 new Explorers listed the same day.
Team Ford Las Vegas is at 5445 Drexel Road. Below you’ll find the used Edges we have, how to check one in the Las Vegas heat, and how the two new Fords compare, all from Ford’s own pages.
Is Ford still making the Edge?
No. Ford’s own Edge page now reads “Ford Edge SUV Retired” and says “it’s the end of the road for Ford Edge SUV production.” Ford also says it is still supporting the Edge: owners can keep getting service and owner support. That matters if you already drive one. You can keep servicing it at our service department, and your Edge isn’t an orphan.
Our new Ford Edge page shows zero vehicles, and that’s expected. Every Edge for sale at a Ford store now is a used or certified pre-owned one.
Used Ford Edges at Team Ford (as of October 26, 2026)
| Model year | Trim | Listed as | Engine (per listing) | Miles | Drive (NHTSA VIN decode) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2021 | Edge SEL | Used | 2.0L EcoBoost turbo I-4 | 66,438 | FWD |
| 2019 | Edge SEL | Certified Pre-Owned | 2.0L EcoBoost turbo I-4 | 83,807 | FWD |

With only two on the lot, they won’t sit long. If you’re set on an Edge, we can also watch incoming trades for you. Tell us the year range, trim and mileage you want through contact us.
Certified vs. used: what the Ford Blue Advantage limits mean for an Edge
A certified Ford comes with Ford’s inspection and coverage on top of the car itself. Ford publishes two main tiers for gas vehicles:
| Ford Blue Advantage (per ford.com, Oct 26, 2026) | Gold Certified | Blue Certified |
|---|---|---|
| Inspection | 172-point | 139-point |
| Vehicle age | Up to 6 years | Up to 10 years |
| Mileage | Under 80,000 miles | Under 150,000 miles |
| Comprehensive limited warranty | 12 months / 12,000 miles | 90 days / 4,000 miles |
| Powertrain limited warranty | 7 years / 100,000 miles | — |
| Money-back guarantee | 14 days / 1,000 miles | 14 days / 1,000 miles |
| 24/7 roadside assistance | 7 years | 90 days |
| CARFAX vehicle history report | Yes | Yes |
The 2019 Edge on our lot is more than six years old and has more than 80,000 miles, so it falls outside Ford’s Gold limits. Under Ford’s published limits that points to Blue Certified. Ask us to show you the certification paperwork on that exact VIN so you know which coverage you’re getting. Our Ford Blue Advantage guide explains the program in more detail, and the Ford CPO page shows every certified Ford we have.
What to check on a used Edge in Las Vegas
Desert heat is hard on any used SUV. Before you buy an Edge (from us or anyone else), check:
- A/C at idle. Let it run in the parking lot, not just on the freeway, and feel the vents after 10 minutes.
- Battery age. Vegas summers shorten battery life, so look for the date code on the battery.
- Tire age and dry rot. Read the four-digit DOT date code on each tire, and look for cracks in the sidewalls.
- Dash, seals and trim. Sun damage shows up on the dash top, door seals and headlight lenses.
- Open recalls. Enter the VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls. Recall repairs are free at a Ford dealer.
- Service records. Ask for the history and the CARFAX report. Ford includes a CARFAX report on its certified vehicles.
The new Fords Edge shoppers cross-shop: Bronco Sport vs. Explorer
If you liked the Edge’s two-row layout and want something easier to park, look at the Bronco Sport. If you need a third row, more cargo room or more towing, the Explorer is the step up. Here’s how they compare on Ford’s own numbers:
| Per ford.com (Oct 26, 2026) | Bronco Sport (2026) | Explorer (2027 figures) |
|---|---|---|
| Rows / seating | 2 rows, seats up to five | 3 rows; seats six (captain’s chairs, standard) or seven (bench, available except Tremor) |
| Engines | 1.5L EcoBoost: 180 hp / 200 lb-ft; 2.0L EcoBoost: 250 hp / 280 lb-ft | 2.3L EcoBoost: 300 hp; 3.0L EcoBoost V6: 385 or 400 hp, depending on the state where it’s purchased |
| Drive | 4×4 standard on every model (advanced 4×4 on Badlands) | Intelligent 4WD available on Active, ST-Line, Platinum and ST; standard on Tremor |
| Cargo behind 2nd row | Up to 32.5 cu ft (1.5L) | 46 cu ft |
| Max cargo (behind 1st row) | Up to 65.2 cu ft (1.5L) | Up to 85.8 cu ft |
| Towing | Up to 2,200 lb (1.5L with available Class II package); 2,700 lb (2.0L) | Up to 5,000 lb with the standard Class III Trailer Tow Package |
| New at Team Ford, Oct 26 | 69 (54 in stock, 9 in transit, 6 in production; 64 × 2026, 5 × 2025) | 71 (58 in stock, 7 in transit, 6 in production; 45 × 2026, 25 × 2027, 1 × 2025) |
| Used at Team Ford, Oct 26 | 2 (both listed CPO: 2024 Big Bend, 2023 Heritage) | 4 (2023 Timberline, 2023 ST CPO, 2022 ST, 2026 ST) |
Ford’s horsepower figures for the Bronco Sport are based on premium fuel, per Ford. Explorer figures are from ford.com’s current 2027 page, and 2026 models can differ, so check the window sticker on the exact unit. Model year comes from each listing’s VIN.
Why the Bronco Sport fits Vegas Edge owners: standard 4×4 on every trim helps on the dirt roads out to Red Rock or Valley of Fire, and it’s easy to park on the Strip or in Summerlin.
Why the Explorer fits: if your Edge was the family car and the kids keep growing, the third row and 5,000-lb towing (enough for a small boat to Lake Mead, when properly equipped) cover what the Edge couldn’t.

Trading in your Edge?
Because Ford no longer builds new Edges, a clean used Edge is one of the few ways shoppers can get one. If you’re moving out of yours, start with our trade-in value tool, then bring the SUV by so we can look at it in person.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Ford still making the Ford Edge?
No. Ford’s Edge page says it’s the end of the road for Ford Edge production. Ford also says its support for the Edge continues, so current owners can keep getting service and owner support.
Does Team Ford Las Vegas have a used Ford Edge for sale?
As of October 26, 2026, Team Ford Las Vegas listed two used Edges: a 2021 Edge SEL with 66,438 miles and a 2019 Edge SEL with 83,807 miles that’s listed as Certified Pre-Owned. Used stock changes daily, so check the live used Edge page.
What new Ford replaces the Edge?
Ford doesn’t name a direct replacement, but its Edge page points shoppers to the current lineup, including Explorer and Bronco Sport. Bronco Sport is the two-row choice with standard 4×4. Explorer is the three-row choice that seats six or seven and tows up to 5,000 lb, per Ford.
Is a certified pre-owned Ford Edge worth it?
It depends on the tier. Ford’s Gold Certified covers vehicles up to 6 years old with under 80,000 miles and adds a 7-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty. Blue Certified covers vehicles up to 10 years old with under 150,000 miles and includes a 90-day/4,000-mile comprehensive limited warranty. Ask to see the certification on the exact vehicle.
Can I still get my Ford Edge serviced in Las Vegas?
Yes. Ford says its support for the Edge continues, and Team Ford Las Vegas services Ford vehicles at 5445 Drexel Road. You can book online through our schedule-service page.
Should I pick a Bronco Sport or an Explorer instead of an Edge?
Choose the Bronco Sport if you want two rows, seating for up to five and standard 4×4 in an easy-to-park size. Choose the Explorer if you need a third row, up to 85.8 cubic feet of cargo space or up to 5,000 lb of towing, per Ford’s 2027 figures.
Conclusion + next steps
The Edge is retired, so the choice is a used Edge while they last or a new Ford that does the job differently. As of today we have two used Edges, plus more than a hundred new Bronco Sports and Explorers combined.
