Short answer: If your business has a valid Ford Fleet Identification Number (FIN code) and the vehicle is reported as a “fleet” sale when it’s first sold, Ford Pro says you get powertrain coverage for 5 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first, instead of Ford’s standard 5 years/60,000 miles. It applies to F-150 (Raptor excluded), Super Duty F-250 through F-600, Transit vans and chassis, and E-Series from 2022 on, and starting with 2027 models it also covers Explorer, Maverick, Ranger, Mustang, Bronco, Bronco Sport, Mustang Mach-E, Expedition and E-Transit (with some trims excluded). The extra coverage stays with the vehicle if you sell it later.
Team Ford Las Vegas is a Ford Pro store at 5445 Drexel Road. Below: what the warranty is, who qualifies, which model years count, and what was on our lot as of October 25, 2026.
Standard Ford warranty vs. the Ford Pro commercial powertrain warranty
| Coverage | Standard new Ford (per ford.com) | Ford Pro commercial (FIN fleet buyers, per fordpro.com) |
|---|---|---|
| Bumper-to-bumper | 3 years / 36,000 miles | Not changed by this program |
| Powertrain | 5 years / 60,000 miles | 5 years / 100,000 miles |
| Hybrid/electric unique components | 8 years / 100,000 miles (per Ford Pro) | Same |
| Gas and diesel | Both | Both, per Ford Pro |
| Transfers to a later owner | — | Yes, stays with the vehicle even if sold to a non-fleet buyer |
The difference is mileage. Ford’s standard powertrain coverage and the commercial version both run five years, but the commercial version goes to 100,000 miles. For a Las Vegas service van that runs the valley all day, or a crew truck that commutes to job sites in Pahrump, Mesquite or Boulder City, 60,000 miles can come long before year five.
Which vehicles qualify (per Ford Pro, checked October 25, 2026)
Core commercial lines, 2022 model year and newer:
- F-150 pickup (excluding Raptor and certain models listed by Ford Pro)
- Super Duty F-250 through F-600 pickups and chassis cabs
- Transit Cargo Van, Passenger Van, Cutaway and Chassis Cab (excludes E-Transit)
- F-53/F-59 stripped chassis
- E-Series cutaway and stripped chassis (2023 model year and newer)
Added starting with the 2027 model year:
- 2027 Explorer
- 2027 Maverick
- 2027 Ranger (excluding Raptor)
- 2027 Mustang (excluding GTD)
- 2027 Bronco (excluding Raptor)
- 2027 Bronco Sport
- 2027 Mustang Mach-E
- 2027 Expedition
- 2027 E-Transit
Medium duty: Ford Pro lists F-650/F-750 (2022 and newer) separately: 5 years/100,000 miles/4,000 engine hours for gas, and 5 years/250,000 miles/10,000 engine hours for diesel, whichever comes first.
The model-year line matters. A 2026 Explorer, Maverick, Ranger, Bronco or Bronco Sport is not on Ford Pro’s list. Only the 2027 versions of those models are. F-150, Super Duty and Transit have qualified since 2022, so the model year doesn’t matter for those.
What Team Ford had on the lot (as of October 25, 2026)
Counts are from our new-inventory pages around 2:00 PM PT. Model year comes from each listing’s VIN. Inventory changes daily.
| Model line | Listed | In stock / in transit / in production | 2027s listed | On Ford Pro’s list? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Transit Cargo Van | 5 | 4 / 0 / 1 | 4 (plus one 2026) | Yes, both model years |
| Super Duty F-250 SRW | 30 | 22 / 3 / 5 | 14 | Yes |
| Super Duty F-350 SRW | 19 | 14 / 3 / 2 | 12 | Yes |
| F-150 | 214 | — | 4 | Yes, excluding Raptor |
| Explorer | 71 | 58 / 7 / 6 | 25 | 2027s only |
| Expedition | 10 | 10 / 0 / 0 | 8 | 2027s only |
| E-Transit Cargo Van | 1 | — | 0 (a 2025) | No (Ford Pro lists 2027 E-Transit only) |
| Maverick, Ranger, Bronco, Bronco Sport, Mach-E | 37 / 35 / 88 / 69 / 27 | — | 0 | Not the units listed today (no 2027s) |
So if you need a midsize pickup or a compact SUV for your fleet and the longer powertrain coverage matters to you, today’s lot doesn’t have a qualifying unit. A 2027 order is the way to get one (our 2026-or-2027 guide covers model-year timing). For full-size work trucks, vans and 3-row SUVs, there are 2027s on the ground now.
How to qualify: the FIN code and the “fleet” sale type
Ford Pro sets two conditions:
- Your business needs a U.S. Ford Fleet Identification Number (FIN code). Per Ford Pro, a FIN is the code given to businesses with a registered Ford Fleet account. Ford asks for proof-of-eligibility documents for the vehicles in your fleet. You apply through Ford Pro, not through the dealer. Ford Pro’s Contact Center is 1-800-34-FLEET (1-800-343-5338), option 2.
- The vehicle has to be reported as sales type “fleet” at the original time of sale. This is decided when the vehicle is first sold, so bring your FIN before you sign, not after.
A few practical points for Las Vegas buyers:
- Have your FIN ready before you shop. Ask us to confirm that the specific VIN you’re buying is on Ford Pro’s list.
- Buying a used truck that was sold as fleet? Ford Pro says the extension stays with the vehicle even after it is sold to a non-fleet customer, as long as it hasn’t expired. Ask for the VIN’s warranty status before you buy.
- Gas or diesel: Ford Pro says the coverage applies to both.
- Full terms: Ford Pro’s page ends with “for complete details, see your local Ford Dealer.” That’s us, and the warranty booklet for your vehicle has the full terms.
Why the extra miles matter in Southern Nevada
Fleet miles pile up fast in the valley. A plumbing or HVAC van can run from Summerlin to Henderson and back several times a day. A crew truck may also be doing I-15 runs toward Primm or US-95 runs toward Indian Springs, and summer heat means long idle time with the AC on. If you put 25,000 miles a year on a work truck, standard 60,000-mile powertrain coverage runs out before the end of year three. At that pace the commercial version lasts about four years, because it runs to 100,000 miles. That’s 40,000 more covered miles on the same truck.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Ford Pro commercial powertrain warranty?
Per Ford Pro, commercial customers with a valid Fleet Identification Number (FIN code) get New Vehicle Limited Warranty powertrain coverage of 5 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first, on qualifying Ford vehicles reported as fleet sales. Ford’s standard powertrain coverage is 5 years or 60,000 miles.
Which 2027 Ford models were added to the commercial powertrain warranty?
Per Ford Pro, starting with the 2027 model year the list adds Explorer, Maverick, Ranger (excluding Raptor), Mustang (excluding GTD), Bronco (excluding Raptor), Bronco Sport, Mustang Mach-E, Expedition and E-Transit. F-150 (Raptor excluded), Super Duty F-250 to F-600, Transit and E-Series have qualified since earlier model years.
Does a 2026 Explorer or Maverick get the 5-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty?
Not under Ford Pro’s current list. For Explorer, Maverick, Ranger, Mustang, Bronco, Bronco Sport, Mach-E, Expedition and E-Transit, only 2027 models are listed. As of October 25, 2026, Team Ford listed 25 model-year 2027 Explorers and 8 model-year 2027 Expeditions.
How do I get a FIN code?
You register a U.S. Ford Fleet account with Ford Pro and provide proof-of-eligibility documents. Ford Pro’s Contact Center is 1-800-34-FLEET (1-800-343-5338), option 2. Have your FIN before you buy, because the vehicle must be reported as a fleet sale at the original time of sale.
Does the commercial powertrain warranty transfer if I sell the truck?
Yes. Per Ford Pro, the extension stays with the vehicle even if it is later sold to a non-fleet customer before it expires.
Does Team Ford Las Vegas have Transit vans that qualify?
As of October 25, 2026, Team Ford listed 5 new Transit Cargo Vans (4 in stock, 1 in production): four 2027s and one 2026. Transit has been on Ford Pro’s list since the 2022 model year, so both model years are on the list when the FIN and fleet sale-type rules are met. Check the live Transit page for current stock.
Conclusion + next steps
The commercial powertrain warranty comes down to three checks: the vehicle line and model year are on Ford Pro’s list, your business has a FIN, and the sale is reported as fleet. Get those right and the powertrain is covered to 100,000 miles instead of 60,000.
