2027 Bronco Filson (and Bronco RTR): How to Order at Team Ford Las Vegas

Green off-road SUV on a rocky desert trail beneath red cliffs

The 2027 Ford Bronco Filson is a new premium Bronco developed with outdoor outfitter Filson, pairing a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 and the standard Sasquatch package (35-inch tires, front and rear locking differentials, Fox internal-bypass shocks) with an upscale, quieter cabin, plus a limited First Edition in Iron Sands Copper Metallic. The 2027 Bronco RTR is the high-speed desert Bronco, with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost with anti-lag, 33-inch tires and a high-clearance HOSS 1.0 suspension. Ford says orders for both open later in October 2026 (Filson reaches showrooms in early 2027 and RTR sales start in January 2027), and Team Ford Las Vegas’s Bronco team can line up your build now.

Ford will begin taking orders for both later in October 2026. Below: what Ford has confirmed, what’s still unpublished, how the First Edition works, and how to get your build into Team Ford’s queue.

What is the 2027 Bronco Filson?

The 2027 Bronco Filson is built with Seattle outfitter Filson, goes on sale in early 2027, and is built at Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne, Michigan.

  • Powertrain: 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 shared with Bronco Raptor, with Filson-specific tuning. Ford has not released horsepower or torque for the Filson.
  • Standard Sasquatch: front/rear electronic locking diffs, Fox internal-bypass shocks, 35-inch rugged-terrain tires.
  • Trail tech: Trail Turn Assist, Trail 1-Pedal Drive, 7 G.O.A.T. Modes (Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, Baja, Off-Road, Rock Crawl), 360° camera, SYNC 4 / 12″ screen, 5G/Wi-Fi, steel ladder frame.
  • Exterior: unique grille with distinct BRONCO lettering, heritage-painted wheel arches, painted mirror caps, exclusive trail-sight tie-downs.
  • Colors: Filson-exclusive Field Green Metallic, plus Marsh Gray, Avalanche Gray, Desert Sand, Shadow Black, Oxford White.

What’s new inside (and why it matters in Vegas heat)

  • Perforated quilted leather and Rugged Twill–inspired woven trim; leather-wrapped instrument panel and steering wheel with brass accents
  • New to Bronco: ventilated front seats and heated rear seats (ventilated fronts matter in Las Vegas heat)
  • Upgraded Bang & Olufsen audio; removable Filson-inspired saddlebags (door-mounted; optional cargo-area bags)
  • Digital rearview mirror with washer; power running boards

Ford calls it the quietest Bronco cabin it has built — acoustic glass, better seals, and nearly 20% less perceived wind noise vs the 2021 Bronco (per Ford). Full underbody armor is optional. See also our summer maintenance tips for extreme Las Vegas heat.

Filson or RTR?

  • Filson: V6, 35s and lockers standard, quieter premium cabin for long desert drives.
  • RTR: lighter-feeling 2.3L desert runner with 33s standard; available Sasquatch with HOSS 3.0 Fox bypass and 35s.

Look at Badlands or Raptor — both offer a front stabilizer bar disconnect; Ford’s Bronco team has said the Filson will not.

Why the Filson and RTR make sense around Las Vegas

  • Logandale Trails (BLM): 200+ miles on 45,000+ acres; some trails limited by vehicle type or experience; 14-day stay limit.
  • Gold Butte National Monument: 300+ miles of primitive routes; may require high-clearance 4WD.
  • Valley of Fire State Park: Off-road driving is prohibited in the park. Legal off-roading nearby includes Logandale Trails and Bitter Springs.

Ventilated seats help on I-15 runs; airing down 35s/33s is covered in our Bronco tire guide. Tread Lightly. Ask us about Bronco Off-Roadeo eligibility for 2027 Filson/RTR (not published yet).
